About Me
- Name: Toya
- Location: The Ill-Go, Illinois, United States
Black, Woman, Christian, College Graduate, and Chicagoan. **update 8/10/2010** i've been doing this blogging thing since about 2001 (or was it 2002?) on blogger.com, back before everyone else started blogging...and i still use the same blog, but barely...it's fun to look at the old post from my old 20 year old self...anyways, i made my blog private off my profile...so if you wondering where it's at, and if i'm just this blogless person commenting on your blogs, you'd just have to email me now....lol...which should be to the right...the rest of my profile is basically the same from when i started this account in 2002 (or 2001)...and maybe, just maybe i'd share my blog.

Man I still can't believe it. I'm actually listening to him right now. It's just sooo sad :( I hope his mother gets through this okay. *smh*
There's NOBODY else like him.
Rest in peace Luther.
Though I don't necessarily believe that R & B is dead, the genre had truly lost a gem.
I saw the episode of Oprah with Luther on it. I thought he'd recover. He even sang for Oprah, but you could tell that he wasnt doing so well.
He's in no more pain. God Bless his soul.
i ain't gonna lie .. i felt that .. i shed a few tears :( .... that was my boy
I agree, I agree, I agree. R&B is dead. Now it's just RB (real bad). I don't even listen to the radio anymore. It's too sad. RIP Luter V
