5th Year Blog Anniversary/Happy V-day
So yeah, i meant to post this sometimes last night, but didn't get around to it. it's been 5 years since i first started blogging on Feb. 13th, 2002, but i actually got introduced to blogging in 2001, but never got around to making a blog like my friend on BP told me that i should since i had too much written on my BP page. it's cool to look back and see how much things have changed and how much things have stayed the same. (i know that's so cliche, but it's true).my first blog was about me, just a little introduction, i didn't have a clue about what to write, so i started talking about how i didn't really like v-day and wished i had a boyfriend. 5 years later, i finally do. now i know that doesn't mean i'll have a good v-day, but we'll see. i'll be spending time with my man, so hopefully we won't get into an argument, lol.
time sure does fly. 5 years, i believe i've changed from when i was 20 to now being 25. i'm finally done with college and off in the real world trying to find my place. i got a theater gig and i'm still looking for a real job. things are going ok, i'm alive so that's a blessing.
well happy 5th blog anniversary to me and happy valentines day to everyone out there, whether you're single or in a relationship. don't fall so much into the hype. it's a hallmark holiday, these stores are just trying to take all of your money! lol. if you're in a relationship, every day should be a special day, or at least don't wait until v-day. also if you're single, don't be sad because you're alone, think about the day before and the day after and all of the other days that you'll be single for that year, lol. i'm serious, that's how i use to have to think about it. why be sad about this one silly commercialized day when i was single and lonely before it? besides, you don't have to be lonely, you can go out with friends, party, have some drinks, play cards, go dancing, have a slumber party, or just chill and have fun! don't let v-day validate you!
